Scrolls and Stones

The intricate facade of the Clarence Street storefront calls out to those strolling by but, to me, the tiny hat is the cherry on top.

This beautiful garden is hidden in plain sight in the heart of London. If you are looking for a great place to read a book, enjoy a coffee or seek an escape from a hectic day, all you need to do is visit the Central Library…ask one of the friendly staff and they will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Fire Roasted

Not a combination of flavours that I would normally gravitate to, but I was feeling a bit adventurous. Verdict – delicious! A smooth dark chocolate centre held surprising bursts of sour watermelon flavour. I think it woke me up more than the cappuccino I ordered alongside. It’s my new favourite way to start a morning.

Where am I?

Downtown London OntarioEvery time I step out my door, I feel magically transported to the elegant leafy sidewalks of Brooklyn Heights, New York. It’s charming and serene, and for the briefest moment, makes me feel like a tourist in my own city.
