I picked up these gorgeously coloured macarons at Nadege in Toronto this past weekend. I’ve kept them as my mid week treat. I just can’t decide which was my favourite, the cherry and chocolate or the rose petal. I guess I’ll just have to pop over there for another taste soon.
It appears I’m not the only one having trouble letting go of the warm weather. I just saw these Spring 2014 Dolce and Gabbana purses in the windows on Bloor Street in Toronto…it’s now September!
I stumbled across this exhibition at Holt Renfrew in downtown Toronto. A collaboration with Institut Francais, the photographs give a literal insider’s view into some of the most internationally renowned, luxurious objects recognized by style lovers around the world. My personal favourites are the Louboutin heel, the Hermes saddle, and the jewel like image of the cognac bottle.
The exhibition runs until September 18th, a perfect excuse for a trip to Holt Renfrew…and maybe a little shopping!
Toronto is like my second home. I had lived there for over a decade and spent many years exploring the nooks and crannies of this city and indulging in all it has to offer. You’ll find me back in my favourite Toronto haunts at least a few times a month (hence also in the pages of this blog).
Front Street, like many parts of downtown Toronto, is a mixture of heritage architecture and modern living. As apartments get smaller, it’s wonderful when you have a neighbourhood that allows you to enjoy your life outside of four walls…especially when the weather is warm.
I found this adorable pair perched outside a little flower shop on Toronto’s Yonge street. If you’re an animal lover short on space, time, or money, I think these “pets” would be a perfect addition to your home. Not sure about the allergies, but your neighbours will love you.
